[RxPG] Seattle, May 2 - Jet Airways, India's largest private carrier, Wednesday announced addition of 10 new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to its fleet at the Boeing headquarters here.

The airline, which bought out rival Air Sahara for $356 million last month, would start operating the new aircraft from May 5 to celebrate its 14th anniversary.

'Jet Airways' new design is reflective of our new efforts to take our superior passenger service to international destinations in Europe and the US,' Naresh Goyal, chairman of Jet Airways, said in a statement.

'The combination of the 777-300ER's positive economics and passenger comfort will help ensure the success and profitability of our growing route structure,' Goyal added.

The company had placed an order to buy these aircraft in September 2005. It currently operates 49 classic and next-generation Boeing 737-400/-700/-800/-900 airplanes in its fleet.

'The 777-300ER delivers real advantages and has proven its economic leadership and high level of passenger comfort,' said Dinesh Keskar, vice president sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

Jet Airways is also launching its flights to Brussels Wednesday, according to a company spokesperson.

Currently, the airline flies to 49 destinations with 330 daily flights, which include London, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Colombo and Kathmandu.
