Chittagong, May 16 - Ace Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble said Wednesday that the team that copes with the weather conditions better will win the first India-Bangladesh Test beginning here Friday.

'It's going to be hot and the team that copes better with the heat will come out on the top,' he told reporters here after the team's practice session at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Ruhul Amin Stadium, the venue of the match.

Kumble, who has captured 547 wickets in 113 matches, also lauded the efforts of the three spinners picked for the ongoing tour.

Talking about his heir apparent Piyush Chawla, Kumble said that he gave a good account of himself in the One-day International series against Bangladesh that India won 2-0 Tuesday.

'For an 18-year-old he has done well to come to the international level and perform the way he has performed. It is a good sign,' he said.

'It's important to have faith in him and support him all the way,' said Kumble, who has already quit ODIs and replaced Chawla for the two-match series.

Apart from Kumble, the highest Indian wicket taker in Test cricket, the squad also has off-spinner Ramesh Powar and left-arm spinner Rajesh Pawar even though they are competing with the 36-year-old veteran.

'They have a lot of experience at the domestic level and have been doing consistently well for the past four-five seasons,' he said.

'Powar has done well in the limited opportunities he had got.'

Batting for Harbhajan Singh, who was axed for the entire Bangladesh tour, Kumble said that the Punjab off-spinner would stage a comeback sooner than later.

'Bhajji has been a very quality bowler and I do not see him sitting out of the squad for a long time,' he said about India's first hat-trick taker in Tests.

'But the two spinners we have here have lot of domestic experience and I am sure that is going to help them,' he said, trying a balancing act.
