India's Aptech expands to El Salvador

Chennai, March 7 - Aptech Computer Education, the flagship brand of India's global learning solutions major Aptech Limited, has launched a state-of-the-art centre at San Salvador, El Salvador.
Aptech launched the new learning centre at the Universidad Francisco Gavidia - campus, the firm said in a statement here Wednesday.
UFG is San Salvador's premier university for technology and science studies, with over 10,000 students.
The Aptech Certified Computer Professional - programme is being offered as one of the higher education professional programmes, from the Centro de Educación Continua -, housed within the university campus.
'With the opening of Aptech's centre in El Salvador, a new horizon of new-age technology has been thrown open for students in El Salvador', said Pramod Khera, CEO and managing director of Aptech.
'Aptech is looking at 2007 as the year of growth. Besides creating depth in the markets where we are already present, we are looking at several new geographies to fuel our growth,' he added.
Aptech's operations currently encompass countries across Africa, Latin America, South East Asia, China, Middle East, APAC and SAARC.
Aptech expanded its operations in the Middle East with the launch of an Arena Multimedia centre at Dubai and a number of Aptech Computer Education Centres in Kuwait and Iran in January this year.
Aptech already has centres at Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Aptech, with system-wide revenue was in excess of $208.75 million in 2006, has trained over 4.5 million students globally.
