Rahman's album for Rajnikant fans rocks Tamil Nadu

Chennai, April 18 - A.R. Rahman's album for 'Sivaji', composed with Rajnikant fans in mind, has achieved its purpose. The superstar's fans are going crazy over the songs and it is doing great business. The top five Tamil albums are:

1. 'Sivaji' - Music Director: A.R. Rahman. The song 'Balleilaka' sung by S.P. Balasubramaniam, Rehanah Benny and the chorus is the favourite among Rajnikant fans now.

2. 'Mozhi' - Music Director: Vidyasagar. The album's appeal continues. It can be described as Vidyasagar's best album ever. The two versions of 'Kaatrin mozhiye', rendered beautifully by Sujatha and Balram, are the best among the lot.

3. 'Unnale Unnale' - Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. 'June ponna', sung by Krish and Arun, is rocking the young crowd.

4. 'Chennai 600028' - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. Yuvan has created this album mainly for the youth. The film's release is getting postponed, therefore other albums have overtaken it. But the songs are sure to catch up once the film opens in the theatres.

5. 'Mayakkannadi' - Music Director: Ilayaraja: The toast of the album is 'Konjam konjam' by Karthik and Shreya.
