[RxPG] Munich, May 7 - Dethroned German champions Bayern Munich, who will end the season without winning a title, will still be able to post their most profitable earnings in the club's history, said an official Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Rummenigge said that the club's turnover would increase by 10 percent to 220 million euros, while the profits, which were 4.8 million euros last season would be more than doubled.
Bayern have failed to qualify for the Champions League and need a successful run in the UEFA Cup if they want to make up the 16 million euros they will lose as a result.
They are looking to invest in several high profile new signings.

Rummenigge slammed Bayern boss Franz Beckenbauer who has recently criticised the Bayern team. 'That is not only irritating for us on the board, other officials also do not like it,' he said.
