[RxPG] London, May 3 - Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger is appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show to end rumours that he was once kicked off the show for making racist remarks.
Hilfiger wanted to appear on the show when he realised there were many people who did not want to buy his clothing based on that one rumour, reports contactmusic.com.
Hilfiger and Winfrey both cleared up the matter, saying there had been no incident on the show where he was asked to leave for making a racist remark.
He said: 'I would never say that and all my friends and family, who know me, and people who work with me and people who have grown up with me, said, 'That's crazy'.'

'It hurt my integrity... Forget the money that it has cost me, forget anything else. It has cost me heartache. I have four children. My children would come from home and say, 'Daddy, I go to school with a Jewish boy who says you don't like him'. They know it's not true.'
