By DPA,
[RxPG] Tehran, April 2 - Iranian television IRIB late Sunday televised purported confessions of two more British sailors admitting that they were detained after entering Iranian waters.
In separate clips, the two men were each shown standing in front of a wall map of the northern Gulf, pointing to the location where they were allegedly seized.
IRIB's Channel 5, in parts of the footage initially aired by its Arabic-language satellite television al-Alam, showed the explanations with Farsi subtitles as each of the two servicemen spoke in what were described as confessions.
One of the men pointed to a spot marked by hand in red ink and said that they were stopped by Iranian forces 'apparently at this point ... which is in Iranian territorial waters.' He said that Iranian authorities had told him it was shown to be that spot by global-positioning data.
He said that he has been well treated in Iranian custody.
The second Briton, addressing himself to 'the Iranian people,' said that he could 'understand why you're so angry.'
The seven sailors and eight Royal Marines were seized from a British patrol boat on March 23 in the Shatt al-Arab waterway, which triggered a diplomatic standoff between Tehran and London.
Iran alleges that the marines crossed illegally into the country's territorial waters, which has been denounced by Britain.
