New York, Nov 25 - Late director Robert Altman, who died recently, predicted his death in one of his final interviews.

When queried about his future projects, he said: 'My short-term plan is to wake up tomorrow morning, and my long-term plan is to wake up tomorrow morning.'

Altman was apparently asked not to mention death while talking about his latest movie 'A Prairie Home Companion', which is about an elderly person's sudden death, reported pagesix.com.

He said: 'Death may not be the thing that any of us desire, but we're all going to face it. So the movie's about death.'

At the end of the interview he added: 'All I regret is what I'm not going to do. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I can see the day when I won't be able to do this any more. But I'm going to die with my boots on, because I am bored to tears when I'm not working.'
