[RxPG] New Delhi, March 25 - He is known for his stylish, sophisticated and contemporary designs, which are in perfect sync with the contemporary Indian man and woman's taste. And Raghavendra Rathore's collection on the last day of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week - didn't let anyone down this time either.
The male models donned in smart, well-fitted Jodhpuri coats with a red handkerchief peeping out of the breast pocket prompted some loud whistles from the female crowd.
Pathan suits, Nehru-collared kurtas with half jackets, coats and formal suits in colours ranging from the basic blacks, greys and browns to bright yellows and oranges were part of the men's collection. A lone red dhoti in the collection also caught the attention of the audience.
For the women, Jodhpuri coats again formed the basis of the collection with long side slits. Golden and silver embellishments on plunging necklined tops, strappy-short dresses and crinkled full lengths skirts were also part of the collection.
In colours, burgundy, wine, pink and blue dominated the collection with fabrics like silk and georgette mostly used. Nautical stripes on black dresses and slightly balloon skirts were also seen.
With the title song of Bollywood movie 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' playing in the backdrop at the end of the show and Rathore bowing to the cheering audience, this sure was one show which everyone loved.
