New Delhi, Nov 25 - A Delhi court will Tuesday deliver the judgement in a political murder case in which Jharkhand Mukti Morcha - leader and Coal Minister Shibu Soren is one of the seven accused.
Additional Sessions Judge B.R. Kedia reserved the judgement on conclusion of arguments by the prosecution and the defence.
Soren and his six co-accused - Sunil Khaware, Ashish Thakur, Nand Kishore alias Nandu, Shailendra Bhattacharya, Ajay Kumar Mehta alias Dilip and Pashupati Nath Mehta alias Posho - are facing trial for allegedly abducting and later murdering Shashinath Jha, the JMM leader's erstwhile private secretary.
The Central Bureau of Investigation - had filed a charge sheet against the seven Nov 10, 1998, alleging that Jha was abducted on May 22, 1994 from Dhaula Kuan in the capital, and later murdered in Ranchi, as he had knowledge of the bribe payment to four former JMM MPs who had voted against the no-confidence motion against the P.V. Narasimha Rao government in July 1993.
The four JMM MPs, including Soren, faced trial for bribery but were acquitted.
