[RxPG] New Delhi, Dec 19 - Television artiste Hussain and his wife Tina took home Rs.2 million in prize money after winning the mega finale of STAR One's dance contest 'Nach Baliye 2'.

The couple won by 400,000 votes Monday night, beating runners-up Gauri and Yash Tonk. Last year's winners Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar gave away the awards.

'I would like to thank STAR One for such a lovely wedding gift,' said Tina, who will celebrate her first wedding anniversary Thursday.

'We are here because of - Harshad and Vithal. I must thank them for this trophy. Everything fades out with time but memories live with us forever and I will always cherish and relish the lovely memories of 'Nach Baliye',' said Hussain.

Hussain and Tina's choreographers were awarded Rs.1 million.

Both finalist pairs - Gauri-Yash and Tina-Hussain - danced to hit numbers like 'Is kaal kaal mein', 'Jhoom jhoom jhoom ba ba', 'Khallas' and 'Khai ke paan Banaras wala'.

The mega final, hosted by Shabbir and Sangeeta Ghosh, also saw sizzling performances by all the eight eliminated couples. The show was also livened up by Shabbir and Rajeev Paul's 'Munnabhai-Circuit' act.

Malaika Arora Khan's performance to the hit song from 'Don', 'Ye mera dil', added spice to the proceedings. She dedicated her performance to Hindi cinema's dancing queen Helen, saying: 'Helen aunty is an ultimate screen goddess for me and this is my tribute to her.'

Saroj Khan enthralled the audiences too by dancing on 'Mann saat smaundar dol gaya' from 'Chameli'. Participating choreographers also shook a leg to the title track of 'Nach Baliye'.
