[RxPG] New Delhi, Feb 28 - A new book would help people facing medical exigencies to get emergency response.
Launched by VIVO healthcare, the book will be a complete emergency response book with tips on how to tackle sudden medical conditions.
While medical emergencies are fairly possible in day-to-day life, there are hardly any people who have the scientific knowledge on how to respond to such medical emergencies immediately before a doctor can be accessed, VIVO healthcare spokesperson Vikas Tripathi said.
People are buying cars worth Rs.8-10 lakh but there is no professional first aid box, inside the car. Maximum deaths during road accidents are due to excessive bleeding and even a bandage can save lives, he said.
The handbook has a detailed list of Do's and Don'ts that can turn out to be life saving in some circumstances where it is important to act on a patient immediately.
With these programmes, we intend to prepare young people for careers in emergency medical care in a variety of situations and institution, said P.K. Chopra, project director at VIVO healthcare.
