[RxPG] Karachi, April 28 - In a bid to impress selectors to get a chance in the Test team, former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is looking to play county cricket in England besides targeting the coming domestic season to prolong his career in the longer version of the game.

'The rest is up to the selectors. I want to play Test cricket that is why I am aiming to play domestic cricket to keep myself in form and fit,' Inzamam was quoted as saying by The News.

'South Africa will tour Pakistan from Sep 25 to play a Test series while we will tour India for three Tests in November. Then the Australians are also coming to Pakistan early next year. I am keen to play in the Test team in these matches as they are all against good sides,' he said.

'I have retired from one-dayers because it is better if the selectors gave a younger player a chance to establish himself. But I still enjoy playing cricket and Test matches are real challenge.'

Inzamam, who retired from one-day cricket after leading Pakistan to a World Cup debacle, also said Friday that he was negotiating with clubs in England through his agent. The 37-year-old added he was also eyeing to play the coming domestic season at home to show the selectors his form and fitness.
