[RxPG] Lahore, April 11 - Two Pakistani investigators met Mark Shields, the detective in-charge of the Bob Woolmer death case in Kingston, Jamaica as the murder probe resumed after a four-day break due to Easter, media reports said Wednesday.
Pakistani investigators - Zubair Mehmood and Kaleem Imam Tuesday met Shields in Jamaica, The News reported.
They have been in Jamaica since April 1 and are assisting the Jamaican authorities in solving the murder mystery.
Woolmer, 58, was found unconscious in his hotel room in Kingston March 18 and later pronounced dead at a local hospital there.
The Jamaican Police launched a full murder inquiry after an autopsy report revealed that the Pakistan coach was strangled to death.
A team of detectives from Interpol and Scotland Yard has now assembled in Jamaica to assist the local investigators there but so far not much progress has been made in the case.
Meanwhile, Woolmer's body is still kept in Kingston till the completion of a coroner's inquest ordered to find the exact cause of the Englishman's death.
Sources said that it would still take two more weeks before the authorities decide a timeframe for the body to be flown to South Africa, Woolmer's adopted homeland. The authorities have told the Pakistanis that they would know by April 23 as to when the body would be released.
