[RxPG] Port-of-Spain, May 15 - Former West Indies cricket captain Brian Lara and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan are likely to team up for special appearances in a $2 million movie titled 'Dulha Mil Gaya' which has commenced shooting here.

Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan are already in the twin-island nation of Trinidad and Tobago for the next three weeks for the film.

'Dulha Mil Gaya' is being produced by Anuj Saxena's Maverick Productions and Vivek Vaswani's Insight Productions and is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz.

Shah Rukh's office has confirmed that he is doing a special appearance in the film.

As for Lara, a spokesman for the production said: 'The film is a romantic comedy and the producers are currently negotiating with Brian Lara for a special guest appearance.'

The original idea was to film the movie and have it premiered in time for World Cricket Cup, which has just concluded in the nine Caribbean islands. Filming has been done at the Gulf City lowland Malls and Pigeon Point in Tobago. Several scenes in Trinidad are on the agenda for filming.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that Lara will serve as Trinidad and Tobago's sports ambassador, pending a new high-profile position.

Roger Boynes, minister of sports and youth affairs, told a media conference that the Trinidad and Tobago cabinet, in recognition of Lara's contribution to this country and the international scene, had deliberated on it.

'And within a short period of time an announcement will be made on what the cabinet decided,' he said.

'Needless to say, we will be hosting a commemorative function and there are other aspects also,' Boynes said.

There is wide speculation that Prime Minister Patrick Manning might offer Lara a senior political post. Or, he might be made minister of sports to replace the incumbent.
