[RxPG] Mumbai, May 9 - Work pressure, controversies, personal problems - recently Kangana Ranaut had been through a rough patch and to combat all the problems she has taken to meditation in a big way.

'Meditation is the best way to overcome all stress,' Kangana told IANS. 'Suddenly I feel so much lighter. I'm able to focus on conversations better.

'So many times the person in front of us doesn't get our attention because we're too busy elsewhere in our own minds. Even in my shots I'm able to focus better. I recommend meditation for all actors.'

Kangana will be seen in 'Metro' and she says she had a whale of a time shooting for Anurag Basu's film, which is releasing Friday.

'When I did 'Gangster' with him, we both had a point to prove. Anurag was just out of a terrible illness and craving to go. I was raw and new. I didn't even know what I was doing. Now in 'Metro' I'm far more aware of camera angles, etc.'

There was this story about her bare back being visible to the public during the shooting of 'Metro'.

'I was shooting on the 14th floor in a very low-cut dress. That's it. Please tell me how onlookers 14 floors below could see my back. I seem to be a part of some rumour or another without even trying.'

Her second release 'Woh Lamhe' bombed. But Kangana is very proud of the film.

'I wish it had done better. My director Mohit Suri and I worked really hard. We wanted to bring out the poignancy and terror of schizophrenia, as shown in 'A Beautiful Mind'. But somewhere that got lost. I'll always be proud of 'Woh Lamhe', but 'Gangster' will remain more special because a first film is like your first love. You never forget it.'

She says that she cherishes her association with Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt.

'Without them I'd be nowhere. I played a far less troubled character in Suneel Darshan's 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' and the same is true of 'Metro'.'
