[RxPG] Jaipur, March 15 - Director Vipul Shah will release his 'Namaste London' with the controversial scenes picturised on Katrina Kaif in a short skirt at Khwaja Moinudeen Chishti's shrine.
'Now there is no controversy over actress Katrina wearing a skirt and the film will have the original scene of Katrina offering prayers at the dargah', said film's director Vipul Shah here Wednesday evening.
Shah had offered his apologies to the management of the Khwaja Moinudeen Chishti's Sufi shrine.
'I have published a written apology and there is no hullabaloo over it now.'
'Namaste London' ran into controversy in October when Katrina gave shots in a knee length skirt along with co-star Rishi Kapoor.
During the shoot, Katrina had a 'dupatta' on her head but her legs were not fully covered. Her attire had irked the dargah committee members as they found her costume objectionable and disrespectful vis-a-vis the shrine.
Even devotees had objected to the actress' costume.
Katrina, Rishi and Shah were served a notice by the committee.
