[RxPG] London, May 17 - Singer Beyonce Knowles feels that unkempt hair and bare feet make her look sexier.

She says she is more relaxed at home and the way she looks at home is no way near how glamorous she looks on stage.

Ananova.com quoted her as saying: 'I like to walk around my house with bare feet and messy hair, but that can be sexy too. I have an old-fashioned view on sexuality, in that I don't think it should be in your face. I'm the opposite of who I am on stage.'

She also revealed that she used to take part in beauty pageants but she never won because she refused to dress down.

'We all have insecurities and, to this day, I see plenty of things wrong with myself. As a young girl I did beauty pageants, but I hated them. I always wore baggy clothes and never won. I was a bit of a tom boy when I was a kid and never really thought of myself as pretty,' she said.
