Sky's the limit for Sevilla says club president

[RxPG] Glasgow, May 17 - Most football clubs would be content to have won two consecutive UEFA Cups and then qualify for the Champions League for the first time ever.
But not Sevilla.
Club president Jose Maria del Nido made it clear early Thursday in Glasgow while celebrating the penalty-shootout win over Espanyol - far from the peak, this was just the start of Sevilla's breakthrough.
'I don't want our success to end here,' said the ambitious Del Nido. 'I want these UEFA Cup wins to be the taking-off point for further success for our great club.'
Penalty-saving keeper Andres Palop reflected the words of El Presidente by saying that the team 'does not have a ceiling - it can go on to achieve even more things.'
Del Nido reminded the media that Sevilla are the only team in Europe that could win three trophies this spring.
His team are already in the June 23 King's Cup final - where they face modest Getafe - and are second in La Liga, just two points behind joint leaders Real Madrid and Barcelona with four rounds left.
Del Nido said that he wanted to keep the current team together.
'I hope I don't have to sell any of these players this summer,' he said. 'I would love to keep this team together for a couple more years, at least.'
In the last three years, Del Nido has balanced Sevilla's books by selling off Jose Antonio Reyes, Sergio Ramos and Julio Baptista.
Now he knows that the big clubs of Europe will be coming for the likes of Daniel Alvaes, Jesus Navas and Frederic Kanoute.
In Glasgow, Del Nido singled out coach Juande Ramos and sporting director Monchi for special praise.
Since 2005, Ramos has brilliantly built on the base left by previous coach Joaquin Caparros.
Both coaches have benefited from the hard work of Monchi, who has put together a superlative squad for a fraction of the money spent by twin Spanish giants Real and Barca.
