[RxPG] Karachi, April 14 - Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Sami said that poor performances by all the team members cost the national squad a first round exit from the World Cup, it was reported by the media Saturday.

'Our batting, bowling and fielding, all were miserable in our short stint in the West Indies and all the team members are responsible for the team's early exit from the event,' Sami was quoted as saying by The News.

Sami, vice-captain Younis Khan and Danish Kaneria appeared before the Pakistan Cricket Board - performance evaluation committee here Friday in the wake of the national team's debacle in the World Cup in the West Indies and murder of their coach Bob Woolmer.

Sami said that the pitches in the West Indies were not the issues because of which Pakistan lost their matches saying they were the same for all the competing teams.

He said he has put forward his advice to the performance evaluation committee for improving domestic structure in order to lift cricketing standards.

Besides three members of the national team, chief selector and former Pakistan captain Wasim Bari and member of the selection committee and former leg-spinner Iqbal Qasim appeared before the committee.
