[RxPG] Thiruvananthapuram, March 26 - SunTec, a Kerala-based IT company, Monday announced that its billing solution - Transaction Billing Management System-Financial - - has been selected by DBS Bank, one of the largest financial services companies in South-east Asia.

Singapore-based DBS will deploy SunTec's flagship product TBMS-F to competitively price and bill its services, thereby boosting customer retention and acquisition.

In a statement it said DBS would use TBMS-F to enhance its cash management services.

The bank was examining better ways to serve its customers through innovative bundling and pricing of its product offerings, tailored to their businesses.

'DBS needed a tool that could easily interface with its existing IT infrastructure and at the same time offer transformational pricing capability for future services. The ease of implementation of transaction data integration capability and TBMS-F's flexibility convinced them that the solution will help them to get to market sooner and more cost effectively,' said the release.

DBS Singapore office will be the first to deploy TBMS-F, and its other centres will be converted soon.

'For DBS, we proposed a departmental solution model that could serve as a pilot and easily be extended to its other lines of business,' said K. Nanda Kumar, CEO of Thiruvananthapuram-based SunTec.

Headquartered in Singapore, DBS is one of the largest financial services groups in Asia with operations in 15 markets and is the largest bank in Singapore measured in terms of assets.

SunTec is a fast-growing SEI CMM Level 5 relationship pricing and billing solutions company that offers transaction value management solutions for the banking and financial services and telecom industries.

SunTec's flagship TBMS-F product suite has proven ability to handle complex value dynamics and effectively manage the four critical entities of a business - customer, product, partner and information.

Its client list includes leading financial institutions like ING Bank, HSBC Group, Lloyds TSB and ICICI Bank.
