[RxPG] Chittagong, May 15 - There are slight chances the third and final India-Bangladesh One-day International will take place here Tuesday as rains delayed the start of the match and a cyclonic storm headed towards this coastal city.

As the coastal areas of this city declared Monday danger signal No. 8 and the local meteorological department predicted heavy rains and storm for Tuesday, winds packing up to 80 km an hour, hit the Bangladesh coast at dawn.

The highest danger signal is No. 10.

Even as it rained Tuesday morning - the pitch covers were removed briefly at around 10 a.m. when it seemed the sun would peek through the dark clouds. But with the covers taken quickly back on the pitch, the chances of the match looked wafer thin. The umpires set the next ground-inspection time 12 noon -.

India have already clinched the series 2-0.

As per the rules, a minimum of 20 overs are required to be bowled in each innings to make a match qualify as an ODI.

It rained the whole day Sunday and the last night, with the coastal areas declaring warnings for fishermen to move from there. Government agencies have turned the schools near the coastal areas into shelter houses, and have started shifting the people living there.

The storm has already headed towards Myanmar and was predicted to hit Chittagong later in the day.

This match was emotionally important for Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore, for whom this is the last ODI with Bangladesh. He will leave after the two-match Test series against India.

For captain Habibul Bashar also it is an emotional moment as he has said that this is his last ODI on home turf.
