[RxPG] Dhaka, May 9 - The first India-Bangladesh One-day International here Thursday could be affected by weather as the light showers have been predicted on the match day.

It also drizzled for over an hour Wednesday morning and according to BBC website light showers and cloudy sky have been predicted in Dhaka on Thursday. The predicted strong winds could also affect the smooth conduct of the match.

Wednesday's drizzle cut short the Indian team's practice session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur and the players had to go for indoor practice facility.

The Bangladesh team was a bit lucky as the players were about to finish their practice session when it started pouring.

The covers were brought on to the pitch during the hour-long downpour.

The sky cleared in the afternoon and three rollers were pressed into service to get the pitch ready for the fourth match at this venue since the stadium was opened.

Bangladesh have won all three matches played here, while Indian cricketers are yet to get the taste of the pitch.

When India won the One-day International series 2-1 on their previous tour to Bangladesh in 2004, the matches were played at Dhaka's first international venue, Bangabandhu National Stadium and in Chittagong.
